Enjin hints at a December release for Fuel Tanks in the Enjin Wallet, promising network-wide availability and a celebratory period with no transaction fees for the community. Expect some limitations as Enjin rolls out these features.

Enjin’s forthcoming release of Fuel Tanks in December will offer network-wide access and an initial celebration phase with no transaction fees for the community. However, some restrictions will be part of the implementation.

While specific restrictions are not publicly disclosed, Enjin has outlined the advantages Fuel Tanks will bring to various user groups within the community. For instance, NFT collectors will enjoy fee-free trading, while NFT creators can mint and distribute non-fungible tokens through Enjin Beam and NFT.io without incurring transaction costs. Game studios can conduct NFT drops without the burden of gas fees.

Notably, the Enjin community will be the first to fully experience the capabilities of Fuel Tanks. What makes this development appealing to users from diverse backgrounds is the ability to subsidize their services without transaction fees. Developers, for instance, can leverage in-app monetization models like subscriptions or microtransactions to cover their expenses. Customers will have the convenience of using the Enjin blockchain while applications can generate revenue without transaction costs.

Fuel Tanks empower developers to access whitelisted callers, whitelisted collections, and achieve maximum fuel burn per transaction, among other features. Fuel Subscription Services enable gamers to subscribe to services and have their needs met without additional costs. They can choose a suitable plan and sign up using a supported payment method, eliminating the need to worry about gas fees.

Subscription-based games often employ this business model to offset their expenses, providing players with an enhanced gaming experience in exchange for their tokens.

Fuel Tanks can be tokenized by setting up the Required Token rule, enabling the minting and sale of NFTs to cover costs. Developers can establish a store where customers can purchase items with a credit card, similar to practices on platforms like Shopify and Webflow.

This development allows users to smoothly transition into the Web3 world. It comes shortly after Enjin’s website upgrade, which aligns with their mass adoption plan. The ecosystem’s expansion over six years has transformed Enjin into a full-fledged Web3 ecosystem, encompassing a wallet, blockchain, marketplace, API, and more.

As Enjin rolls out Fuel Tanks, it will subsidize transaction fees for the first three months following network-wide deployment.
